Batik Bali


Batik technique called wax-resist dyeing. Namely by dyeing cloth using the color barrier material in the form of wax. This technique can only be applied on top of a material made from natural fibers such as cotton, silk, and wool. If there is the making of batik cloth shades and coloring do not use the technique on a patterned cloth called batik cloth, batik cloth instead. That kind of fabric is usually made on an industrial scale with a printing technique or print.
One of the latest batik and still unfamiliar to our ears is 'Batik Bali'. Calculated is still relatively new. Maybe because Bali save a lot of potential motives and local design. Bali Batik motifs is marriage in the country and abroad. Until now, the market price for a Balinese batik which has fairly good quality, the price range of Rp. 350,000 to Rp. 2,000,000. The high prices are because of batik cloth, batik is designed directly by hand and also using natural dye.
